Scheduled analysis and reports (Pro)

Last updated: October 3, 2026

Pro only. Manual analysis, cleanup, recovery and CSV exports remain available in Free. Scheduling runs analysis; it never authorizes automatic media deletion.

Set a schedule

  1. Install the Pro edition and open Settings → Scheduled analyses (Einstellungen → Geplante Analysen). Choose daily or weekly frequency and select Save schedule and reports (Zeitplan und Berichte speichern).
  2. Check the background-processing status in Settings. WooCommerce Action Scheduler and the site’s cron or external runner must be functioning.
  3. After the next scheduled run, check that it completed and that the analysis timestamp advanced. Treat a missed or incomplete run as a processing issue, not as a clean media-library result.

Review analysis history

Pro keeps up to 30 completed analysis snapshots from the last 30 days. Compare the aggregate counts to see how the library changes over time. Incomplete runs do not provide a finished comparison. These snapshots are reporting data, not copies of images or a media restore point.

Enable email reports separately

Email reporting requires explicit activation and a configured recipient. The first completed comparison establishes the baseline; reports are sent when the tracked counts change. No email after an unchanged run can therefore be normal. Verify the latest completed run as well as the inbox.

  1. Enable the report option and confirm the recipient address.
  2. Check a completed baseline run, then a later completed run with changed counts.
  3. If the expected message is absent, check mail delivery, spam filtering and background-job status.

Continue to review before cleanup

Use the report as a prompt to inspect the current results. Follow Analysis and Cleanup for the same review and test-run process used in Free. Changing to Free removes the Pro automation controls; manual workflows remain available.
