Free and Pro. The IPS checkout, supported payment adapters, express slots, thank-you surface and support diagnostics belong to Free.
Set up the checkout
- Verify the normal WooCommerce checkout configuration: page assignment, customer fields, shipping zones, tax settings and payment-provider configuration.
- Enable the IPS Portal Checkout and save its settings. Open checkout with a test product and a shipping address.
- Check shipping, discounts and totals, then submit a test order through each intended payment method. Confirm the result in both WooCommerce and the provider’s test environment.
- Verify return, cancellation and failed-payment behavior, then the thank-you page and order emails.
Understand provider coverage
The integration includes supported flows in the Stripe, WooPayments, PayPal, Mollie and Amazon Pay families. Install the corresponding WooCommerce provider plugin and configure its account. The provider name alone does not guarantee every payment method, plugin version or checkout context.
| Context | Check separately |
|---|---|
| Normal checkout | The specific payment method, provider plugin, redirect or hosted-field flow and order result. |
| Express checkout | Wallet eligibility, browser/device, shipping updates and final total. |
| Sidecart express | The supported Sidecart slot and the provider’s cart requirements. |
| Recurring purchases | The exact subscription product and gateway combination; a successful one-time payment is insufficient. |
Use the checkout status/diagnostics view to inspect availability and unsupported conditions for the installed setup. Disabled or ineligible methods should not be treated as available merely because their provider is installed. Test with the shop’s actual currency, country and product types.
Compatibility and native fallback
IPS supplies its own checkout. CheckoutWC is not a supported runtime. Other themes and checkout customizers require testing; their complete checkout lifecycle is not automatically reproduced inside the portal.
The Germanized integration covers its verified compatibility range (core 3.18 to below 4; Pro 4 to below 5) and supported contexts. Required checkboxes appear in the final review; express choices can be hidden when they would bypass required confirmation. Unsupported conditions can fall back to native WooCommerce checkout. A native fallback is a different surface and should be tested with the same order scenario.
Thank-you page
Enable the IPS Thank-you module if you want its order-received presentation. Test a successful order and a provider return, and confirm that order details belong to the current customer or valid order access. WooCommerce and the payment provider still determine payment and order status.
Use diagnostics for a focused reproduction
Checkout tracing is off by default. Enable it only for the required investigation, reproduce one scenario and inspect status and trace information. Export a redacted support report when needed, then clear or disable tracing. See Privacy and data for storage and provider connections.
