Availability: Free (Core) and Pro. Core is the free feature set. Your installed edition and version determine which controls are available.
Install and open the settings
- Back up the shop and try the setup on a staging copy first. Check the requirements on the product overview and activate WooCommerce.
- Install the Free package from WordPress.org when listed there, or upload the ZIP supplied by IPS through Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin. Activate the plugin.
- For Pro, use the separate Pro package supplied with your purchase. Deactivate the other edition before activating Pro; keep only one edition of this product active. Keep existing data when changing editions.
- Open IPS → Cart. Save a small configuration change, then check its effect in a separate customer session.
Run the first check
- Confirm that WooCommerce has working Cart, Checkout and My Account page assignments, shipping methods and a configured test payment method.
- In the Cart module settings, enable the Sidecart first. Add a simple product and verify quantities, removal and totals.
- Enable the IPS cart and checkout surfaces you intend to use. Configure appearance and checkout options, then save.
- Complete a test order, check its shipping and payment result, and inspect the thank-you page and WooCommerce order. Test desktop and mobile before applying the configuration to the live shop.
Updates and changing editions
WordPress.org supplies updates for its Free package. Packages supplied by IPS use the IPS update channel; Pro updates may require an active license for that channel. A Pro license does not add Pro code to a WordPress.org package. Use the package supplied for your purchase and follow its installation instructions.
When returning to Free, Pro controls and behavior are unavailable. Keep a backup and review any configuration that depends on Pro before switching. These instructions describe the supported features; they do not announce availability of a release in every distribution channel.
Module activation and configuration
A module’s saved configuration and its active state are separate. You can prepare settings while a module is inactive, but customers see its behavior only when the relevant module is enabled. Free has a complete cart and checkout workflow; Pro adds the separately documented modules.
Establish the payment baseline
Test each payment method actually offered by your shop. A normal card-payment test does not establish express-wallet or subscription support. See Checkout and payments before enabling additional providers.
Continue with your workflow
- Sidecart and cart — configure the shopping surfaces.
- Local Pickup — offer collection locations.
- Cart and checkout rules — set product and shipping restrictions.
