Order Bumps (Pro)

Last updated: October 3, 2026

Pro only. Order Bumps are not included in the Free package.

Create an offer

  1. Open Order Bumps in the Pro Cart administration and create an entry.
  2. Choose the offered product and one of the supported display locations available in the editor. Configure the offered content and the available display conditions.
  3. For a variable product, configure the required variation behavior and check that a purchasable selection can be made.
  4. Save the entry, set it active and enable the Order Bumps module when ready.
  5. Visit the selected location with a matching cart and accept the offer. Verify product, variation, quantity and price in the cart and final order.

Test both matching and non-matching carts

Check an eligible cart, a cart outside the configured conditions and an unavailable offered product. Confirm that customers can continue without taking the offer. Check the placement on mobile and ensure it does not obscure checkout validation or payment actions.

Purchase rules still apply

An Order Bump does not bypass WooCommerce purchasability, stock checks or active Cart Gate restrictions. Review the final cart result and customer feedback if an offer cannot be added. Do not describe an offer as discounted unless the actual configured pricing produces that discount in WooCommerce totals.

Prepare changes while inactive

Keep an entry or its module inactive while configuring a new offer. Saved configuration and customer-facing activation are separate. After enabling it, test the same cart used during setup and complete a test order.

If the offer is missing

Confirm Pro is active, both module and entry are enabled, the selected location is in use, and the current cart meets the conditions. Check whether the product or required variation is available. Then inspect any cart rules that affect accepting the offer.
