Record a reproducible case
- Record the IPS version and edition, WordPress/WooCommerce versions, theme, payment plugin and relevant module settings.
- Reproduce with the same products, address, currency, customer state and device/browser.
- Check the module’s active state separately from its saved configuration. On staging, compare the same case with the relevant module or rule disabled.
Cart quantities or totals appear stale
Wait for the cart request to complete and check failed browser requests. Review page/API caching and optimization that affect customer-specific cart and checkout responses. Compare the native WooCommerce cart to determine whether the issue is shared across surfaces.
A payment method or wallet is missing
Check provider credentials/configuration, enabled methods and checkout status diagnostics. Verify country, currency, browser/device, cart type and normal-versus-express support. A working one-time card payment does not verify a wallet or subscription flow. A native checkout fallback can be intentional for an unsupported context.
Checkout cannot submit or shipping is unavailable
Read the customer validation message and inspect the selected address, shipping zone and method. In Pro, check Checkout Gate restrictions; for product combinations, inspect Cart Gate. For Germanized, check the installed compatibility range and required confirmations. Use tracing for one focused reproduction and review the event result, then disable it.
A pickup location or Order Bump is missing
For pickup, check module activation, the location’s Active state, visibility and shipping context. For a bump, also confirm Pro, the selected display location, matching conditions and the offered product/variation’s availability.
A recovery reminder is not sent
Confirm Pro and Portal Checkout are active, recovery is enabled and an eligible cart was captured. Check capture mode, email, inactivity plus reminder delay, unsubscribe/order state and Action Scheduler worker status. An older automatically captured entry is not sent after switching to checkbox capture. There is at most one reminder, and failed or ambiguous send attempts do not automatically retry.
A recovery link cannot restore the old cart
Check link expiry and current product availability. Recovery requires confirmation and current purchase-rule checks; it does not recreate unsupported subscriptions, bundles or arbitrary item add-ons. Review the displayed reason and preserve the existing cart while investigating.
Contact support
Send reproduction steps, versions, edition and a redacted diagnostics export through IPS support. Do not include payment credentials, live recovery links or unnecessary customer data. State whether the same scenario works in native WooCommerce checkout.
